The short version

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Chris Smith, trading as Our Wedding Plans (“we”, “us”), who run Our Wedding Plans at ourweddingplans.co.uk. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Contact: support@ourweddingplans.co.uk.

The beta

During the private beta the service is free and available by invitation. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. We'll give you reasonable notice before any change that significantly affects you. We will never start charging you without telling you first and getting your agreement.

Your account

Your content

Everything you add (plans, guest lists, designs, photos and messages) stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can provide the service to you, for example showing it to your planning partners and publishing the wedding website you choose to publish.

You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload, and that you'll handle your guests' personal details fairly and only for planning your wedding.

The beta has no guarantee against data loss. Please use the download option in Settings to keep your own copy of important information.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

If you think you've found a security problem, please tell us at support@ourweddingplans.co.uk. We'll be grateful.

Ending your account

You can stop using Our Wedding Plans at any time and ask us to delete your account from Help & support in the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, telling you why unless the law prevents it. If we ever close the service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the beta with reasonable care and skill, but as a free test service it's offered “as is”. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you're a consumer, these terms don't affect your legal rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. For important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your home country's courts.
